Help!!! I need a good definition of secondary and primary research methods!?

primary research methods include interviewing, archaeological digging n etc. In other words, the info u get is all from a direct source and original eg. artifacts

secondary ones are the ones like you get off the internet, or read up from a book. ie. stuff people have researched and then you obtain from them

Help!!! I need a good definition of secondary and primary research methods!?
Erm? you mean like 1) eye witness 2) written word such as newspapers???

Sorry, been a long time since I studied.
Reply:basically, primary research means that you get the things yourself, and not through others. for example, if you take a photo, or you conduct a survey or an interview, that's primary research, because you got the information straight from the source.

secondary research is when you read something from elsewhere, but not straight from the source. examples would be newspapers and biographies.

hope this helps
Reply:primary is your own work eg. photographs, still life photos, holiday photos, postcards,

secondary is the work of others eg. in art, research van gogh.
