these two questions are about research methods.provide concrete answers.

Social research... research with human subjects must first be approved by an IRB (Instutional Review Board).

is a liink to the IRB site at the University of Georgia. You have to disclose what the research is looking for, potential risks to research participants, etc.

Good experiments are reliable because the researcher has done research on the subject matter before starting the research and has an idea of what he/she is looking for and what he/she will find, while not having tunnel vision for one answer. Reliabiltiy will come with repeated testing and a large enough group of subjects (of varying backgrounds, etc) that the study is not skewed.
Reply:Reliability in an experiment is when it yields the same result when tested at different times, or by different people, etc.

You also need to consider validity - i.e. is the experiment testing what you want to test?
Reply:1.research(study the bibliography that concerns the recearch subject)

2.experiment(with scientific procedure)

3.analysis of the findings(statistics,interpretation etc.)
