In Social Work Research Methods Course, What does a ,Two Tail Test"mean?

A two tailed test means that it looks at both ends of the normal curve - it usually is used when your hypothesis does not state a direction. So that if your hypothesis is that "there will be a change" you would use a two-tailed test. If your hypothesis was that there will be an increase or decrease you would use a one tailed.
